Festivals and Venues

The Beale Street Music Festival was established in 1977 and has annually featured over 60 world-class acts on four stages in scenic Tom Lee Park where Beale Street meets the Mississippi. This, in addition to the artists who perform in the clubs along Beale Street, offer music lovers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the art form they love best.

The Beale Street Music Festival has been nominated for a Concert Industry Award for the Music Festival of The Year, and was named by Playboy Magazine as one of the Fun 2000 events - a "must-do list" for the new millennium. The Beale Street Music Festival also hosted media such as VH1, Rolling Stone, MTV, Billboard, Cashbox, Pollstar, National Geographic, the BBC and dozens of other national publications, international television networks and blues publications.

Some of the past artists who have played Beale Street Music Festival include Tom Petty, Dave Matthew's Band, Black Crowes, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ray Charles, Van Morrison, Allman Brothers, Daughtry just to name a few.

Located in downtown Tuscaloosa on the banks of the Black Warrior River and only minutes from the University of Alabama, The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater recently opened in April 2011.

The "Coca-Cola Concert Series" showcases concerts and events of all genres from country and rock, to gospel, R&B, pop and blues, plus festivals and special community-oriented events.

The 7,470 capacity Tuscaloosa Amphitheater is blocks from the lively downtown district and sits at the end of the fabulous Riverwalk.

For the biggest entertainment on the coast, between Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida, look no further than The Amphitheater at The Wharf. Located at The Wharf resort in Orange Beach, Alabama you will find the 9,500 capacity Amphitheater beautifully situated among scenic wetlands.

Situated on 136 acres of beautiful land in Whites Creek, TN, just 10 minutes north of downtown Nashville, on the original estate of Barbara Mandrell, The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel is a magnificent 4,500 capacity outdoor music venue, carved out of a cozy wooded setting with 100 foot oak trees and rolling hills.

The Fontanel property consists of the Mansion itself, the Woods Amphitheater, the Farm House Restaurant, the Studio Gallery, the Stone House Gift Shop, and lastly, the Trails.

Fontanel hosts mansion tours, private parties, world-class concerts, festivals, lifestyle events, hiking on the trails, and of course, provides quality dining with fabulous food at the Farm House Restaurant at Fontanel.

The Top of the Beer Festivals are a traveling craft beer festival which is the ultimate lifestyle event! Patrons can sample over 150 world-class craft and imported beers in a relaxed setting. Combine amazing and unique beer with food, music, education sessions, games and great friends and there is not a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon or evening.

Top of the Hops Beer Festivals are all sponsored by Draft Magazine and take place in Biloxi, Mississippi, Mandeville, Louisiana, Lafayette, Louisiana, Greenville, South Carolina, Jackson, Mississippi and Charlottesville, Virginia.

Having grown substantially from a debut crowd of 50,000 in 1995, BayFest has become known for its vast array of renowned musical talent that appeals to a wide variety of audiences and is suitable for the entire family. Since BayFest's beginning, acts such as Stone Temple Pilots, Motley Crue, B.B. King, Widespread Panic, Hootie & the Blowfish, The Temptations, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, Ludacris, Travis Tritt, Velvet Revolver, LeAnn Rimes, Nelly, Alan Jackson, Anita Baker, and hundreds more have performed on BayFest stages.

BayFest offers continuous music for every taste, including country, classic rock, alternative, pop, jazz, R&B, rap, gospel, modern rock and more. One of the festival's stages, the Launching Pad, is specifically designed to spotlight local and regional talent and showcase acts who aspire for musical greatness. The event also includes a family activity area that has garnered rave reviews in and of itself. All of this is offered at a price that is less that what most individual concerts cost!

Riverfest is a celebration of visual and performing arts that is held annually over Memorial Day weekend on the banks of the Arkansas River in Little Rock and North Little Rock. Riverfest is the largest single event in the state of Arkansas with a rich 34-year tradition. Approximately 250,000 festival-goers attended the 2011 event, with an estimated economic impact of $33 million on the community.

In the last two years, over 40,000 scared souls have witnessed Warehouse 31, north Florida's largest and scariest hanuted house. From Rigamoris' Chainsaw Room, the Autopsy Chamber and The Gauntlet to Professor Foggy Nox's 3-D Cabinet of Curiosities, Warehouse 31 is must during the Halloween season.
