AND NEW YEARS EVE CELEBRATION

BAND CONTINUES TO PLAY FAN FAVORITE VENUES

AS PART OF 25^TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Nashville, TN – Widespread Panic continue their 25^th Anniversary celebration

with the much-anticipated announcement of their annual fall tour. Aside from a couple of very special dates in early 2012, this will be the Widespread Panic’s last tour before going on a hiatus. In appreciation of their loyal fans, Widespread Panic will perform at some of the smaller, more intimate venues that have become fan favorites through the years, as well as some new ones.

Panic will also perform for the first time at a handful of venues this fall, including the first time at The Woods at Fontanel in Nashville, TN (Oct. 7). Also, for the first time in 15 years, Panic will return to Tuscaloosa, AL to play the new Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on September 30^th.

On October 15, Widespread Panic will be featured for the full-hour on the acclaimed PBS series Austin City Limits. The special 25^th Anniversary performance was recorded during the 2011 SXSW Music Conference, marking the first time ACL and SXSW hosted a joint taping and conference showcase.
